Kasich to fill in details on JobsOhio framework

Gov. John Kasich and other state officials are set to make a round of regional presentations starting this week on the planned organization of the state's JobsOhio economic development agency, the Associated Press reports.

The first JobsOhio presentation is set for Tuesday in Dayton. Five other presentations have been scheduled around the state, the news service reported. The Cincinnati presentation is planned for Aug. 25, at 9:30 a.m. at the Westin Hotel downtown.

Kasich signed the law creating the framework for the semi-private JobsOhio entity in February and filled out its board in July.
