Very long total lunar eclipse coming Wednesday

The Earth's shadow crept across the moon's surface slowly eclipsing it and turning it to shades of orange and red during second total lunar eclipse this year.This month's full moon will pass almost directly through the center of Earth's shadow on Wednesday� in what will be an unusually long total eclipse of the moon, 100 minutes. The next total lunar eclipse of exceptional length will be July 27, 2018, and will last 106 minutes.
