Procter & Gamble Co. Vice Chairman Robert Steele has joined the board of directors for Beam Inc., the public spirits company being spun off from Fortune Brands (NYSE: FO). Steele, 56, is vice chairman of health care strategy for Cincinnati-based P&G (NYSE: PG). He also sits on the board for the Kellogg Co.
