Dr. Robert Heidt, founder of Wellington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, died Tuesday morning of prostate cancer at his home in Clifton. He was 85.
In addition to founding Wellington, Heidt was a longtime doctor with the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.
Wellington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine is the 16th largest physician group in the Tri-State, with 29 group physicians and roughly 300 employees, according to Courier research.
