Cincinnati Water Works lands high marks from Moody's, S&P
Greater Cincinnati Water Works has received high ratings from both Moody?s Investors Service and Standard & Poor's. Water Works? long-term credit was given an ?Aaa? rating from Moody?s and ?AAA? rating from S&P, according to a new release. The triple-A is the highest rating for a municipal water utility, and ratings are based on financial strength, possible future risk and potential outside support during financial distress, among other factors. ?These ratings are an endorsement of GCWW?s fiscal governance,? says Biju George, interim director of Greater Cincinnati Water Works...
