Jim Votruba, who has led Northern Kentucky University for 15 years, is retiring next spring. During his tenure as president, the campus and the university itself have been transformed with the Bank of Kentucky Center and the $53 million Griffin Hall, which is opening this fall as home for the College of Informatics. The university doubled its annual budget and its endowment has grown more than five times.
